What Do I Need To Start?
* You will need a suitable piano or keyboard and a
computer with cable internet right next to your piano. A Steinway
Grand would be best, but a $150 digital keyboard will work to start with.
Piano Class Participants:
- Pentium 4
- 1.4 GHz
- 512 RAM
- 100 Mbit Network card
- USB 2.0 or Firewire web cam (video conference)
(Logitech is a good brand) (optional)
- Tri-pod or way to jerry rig camera to see the
keyboard
- Windows 2000 or XP
- Internet Explorer 5 and up
- Hi speed internet connection. (Cable/DSL)
- Phone line preferably not VOIP line
- Dual Ear Headset, GE from Target for phone
line. Not a noise canceling headset, we are going to pick up the
sound of the keyboard and the students voice through this mic.
Private Lesson Students:

Private Lesson
Students using Mac Computers:
(We currently do not support Apple/Mac for our piano
classes. see
below for piano lesson requirements.)
We will make every effort to accomodate
private lessons with mac computer users. Students will need "ichat"
programming and these system requirements:
Dual 1GHz G4, any G5 or Intel Core.
384Kbps Cable Internet connection (up/down)
