What are some of the key benefits to taking lessons over the computer?  Internet lessons/classes are convenient and save time traveling to and from lessons (more practicing time).  This doesn't mention saving on gas and vehicle maintenance.  Internet Lessons are also a way for students to learn from highly qualified instructors that may not be available in their area.  Finding music, sharing recordings, and researching related information is not a problem with the internet at our fingertips.

How good is the video quality?  The video will be almost as good as tv quality.  We think you will be shocked at the quality of the video.

Should I start with classes or lessons first?  We recommend beginners start with classes.  It is less intimidating, longer class periods, and it serves as a trial period for you with a smaller investment than private lessons.

How long are the class sessions?  The class sessions will last 18 weeks.

How much should I expect to pay for materials in the classes or lessons?  Class materials will be around $20 and will be charged at the start of the class.  Lessons materials will start at $20 and will vary around ($5-$20) every 1-2 months.  Advanced private lesson students are welcome to continue using their current books.

What is the youngest age that you would recommend for taking lessons/classes over the computer?  We recommend a mature age 10 or above.  Some parents may be required to be physically in the room during the class/lesson if needed.  

I'm not very good at technology is this going to be hard to set-up and operate?  You can be in the classroom up and running in 3 minutes tops.  If we need to we will take you by the hand and walk you step-by-step through the 3 minute process to get you up and running.  If you made it to our site, set-up will be simple.

Can I try a lesson or class to see if I think it will work for me?  Call or email and we will set up a demo class/lesson for you to try this out.  

What styles of music can I get instruction for with LivePianoClasses?  Classical, Jazz, Pop, Christian/Sacred.

Do you teach any other instruments beside piano?  We teach guitar, and voice.  We will try to accommodate any instrument so send us an email and we will let you know if we have a teacher available.
